Importance and Impact of Chronological Storytelling of The Bible to Reach Oral Communicators
Note: GS uses chronological Bible storytelling as one method of reaching oral communicators. These stories are often written by national evangelists reaching oral communicators.

Concept as seen through the eyes of one of the 20 members of the All India Council and who is also the son of illiterate parents.

In India we have studied the theology like western oriented way, like teaching topical sermon, biographical sermon, ext ...but we did not studied Chronological story telling method. that's why it is new to us and new to our believers and students of the seminaries. Pastor Jack day's books [Bible Storytelling by Jack Day] are very good for Church believers spiritual (Biblical) study growth.

Now where ever I go I try to teach or preach like story telling method, People like that, we have more result than before. I am thankful to God for the video of the Bible and its Chronological story method.

In India 85% and more people are agricultural background, and less education, they can't understand the doctrine and theology, they need simple story , they listen happily, only in the city people like to hear topical sermon or doctrine or theology.

90% people live in rural places, they have time, if we want to transform them to Christ, we should tell the Gospel in simple manner, only through Chronological story telling mothed we can reach them for Christ.

I came to the Lord through Baptist (Southern) ministry, I grown in such a way to study the whole Bible many times. I did not get the opportunity to study any books in my youth age, I have more knowledge in Bible than Doctrine of any Church, theology. ext. but God gave the opportunity to study many books during my 3 master degrees and during my doctorate degree.

I thank God for knowing this Chronological story telling method, it opens my inner heart to know the way India people need the message of Christ in this generation. Now I could see more result than before, People say now we are very happy about your teaching/preaching, it is clear and understandable and life changing.

Please find the blessing of a family saved by the use of GS Nepali. Madhav Thapa a English language student of our language institute 6 years ago. I shared the Gospel to him but he did not understand at that time. I keep praying for him. He is now a business man and married and has 2 years old baby boy.

He and his family came to see me on Sept. 20th. Sushila and me made them to watch GS Nepali on EVBP. He and his wife Neetu watched GS Nepali that night. They were really moved by it. We envited them to attaned the church coming service but he could not attended the service on that week.

But he came to our church service on 18th of Sept. and end of the service he came front and surrender his life to Lord Jesus and made Him his personal Savior. Madhya went back and testified to his whole family members especially to his wife Net's parents. And invited us to come to his house for Bible study. So our church leaders had Bible study at his house on 23rd of Sept.

And on 25's church service Neetu's parents and her elder sister Geetu attended the church service and invited Jesus to come to their lives, finally. Neetu's parents are Nepali people but ex‑Indian Armey.

They have build a huge Hindu temple in front of their house and she worship idol 3 hours morning and 3 housrs evening inside of temple. They have invested a big amount of their money building the temple. They have not taking novae and sour things for 28 years. Many people used to come to that temple and worship Idols. But now no one from that family is worshiping god and goddess in the temple.

They have cleaned their house and put a big lock on the doors of that temple. Many people of that area surprised and touched by this incident what the lord has done for theisms. He wants to give this temple for bible study classes. Praise and glory to our dear God for his great work. I have a picture of this temple and people and send it to you next time.

This couple have 8 daughter all together. Only 3 are saved and all need salvation from our Lord Jesus. This is a simple way of using GS Nepali and great harvest of blessing of saving of many.

Many new believers are now ready for water baptism. 60 are taking w. Baptism from Mohan's area. We have chosen the date for first water Baptism service on coming 20th of this month of Oct. And there will be 100+ people on this day to take we. baptism. And again 28 will be our second day of W. Baptism this day also 100+ are going to take water Baptism.

All are in the lord by direct or indirect ministry by using the GS. Praise be to 'God for all this souls today in the Lord. Many strong leaders will come out from these newly baptizing believers. We are really ever thankful to you for your great effort and contribution on God's kingdom by your teaching materials, Bible lessons, books, tracts, and GS ministry.

There are many challenging reports after watching the GS. Ram Bahadur Tharu watched GS in his own language and was amazed. He already heard the gospel but he was thinking Jesus is not his native God. Jesus doesn't recognize him and his language. After watching GS in Tharu, he understand the gospel clearly and accepted Jesus his personal savior in March. He called his wife also to see GS. Now both of them are fully believing in Jesus and sharing gospel at their village of Bangai.

Sanjit Tharu from Lalmtia village watched GS and understand gospel clearly and recognize Jesus well who He is, now he is challenged to preach gospel at his big village.

Deepnath Dhital ( Hindu priest ) now preaching Jesus at his native Sinja, Jumla. It is one of the very remote places of Nepal. There are couple of flights every week from our city to Jumla. And from Jumla we need to go by tracking for one day. He needs our prayer support in persecution and new strength in evangelism.
